Stephen J. Toner, MBA, Broker Associate, is a Senior Adviser with SVN Saunders Ralston Dantzler Real Estate. with a specialty in Florida land for
development, land for investment and ranch land in the greater Tampa Bay region. With land for development, he
works with residential builders, developers, and retail corporate site
selection managers on sites in the growing area of Tampa Bay and the south west
coast counties of Florida. He works with owners of ranch lands and land for
hunting and recreation throughout west and central Florida; often good candidates
for conservation easement and 1031 Exchange strategies. Since joining CBCSRE in
June of 2015 Steve has put over $22 million under contract and sales.
For land investors, local and international, Steve is working with both buyers
and sellers. For international clients often involved in trade, he presents the
advantages of owning (rather than leasing) land in Tampa Bay for office,
warehouse and manufacturing facilities, to take advantage of the Free Trade
Zone (FTZ) status now available nearly anywhere (appropriately zoned) in west
central Florida. He works with clients in a number of Free Trade Agreement
(FTA) countries which provide significant Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in
the Tampa Bay area real estate.
Prior to working with Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate, Steve
had his own brokerage and marketing firm; served as Vice President
International of a national Real Estate Franchise; served as Director of
Business Development for a national engineering firm, and as Director of
Development and Alumni at his University.
Steve earned his MBA at Northern Kentucky University (NKU), and his MPA at the
University of Cincinnati. His BA undergraduate work was completed at the
University of Kentucky and NKU. He holds a Florida Real Estate Broker's License
and has completed most courses in the NAR Programs toward the CCIM and ALC
designations.
Steve’s interests include travel, hunting, fishing boating and photography. He
lives in Tampa with his wife, Pam. They have two grown children and three
grandchildren who live in the Tampa Bay area.
